- In my work as an evangelist on London's roughest and most deprived estates I have taken Mark Roques' style of evangelism, used it on the estate and the outcome has been brilliant! I have used RealityBites material to share the Gospel and it has entertained and kept the attention of drug addicts, alcoholics, offenders, and book-illiterate for the whole session. Also the RealityBites story of Cadbury always delivers the Gospel well on estates like this and I can use it again and again! RealityBites’ way of evangelism is what the 21st century needs!

- You have given us a key that will unlock our teenage students in a refreshing and powerful way. Might I add that I recommend your presentation to any high school teacher who wants to be able to connect and engage their teen students with the Gospel in an exciting and effective manner.

- As I have traveled the world promoting a Christian world view, I have often drawn from the wealth of RealityBites. These stories have helped college students ‘sink their teeth into’ the great long project of kingdom service. Just yesterday I employed your material in addressing a high school of young Christians eager to hear what the Lord is doing in His world. Keep up the great work!

- It's vital that churches and youth groups ground their young people in thinking that helps them connect their faith with the world around them. RealityBites does just that with fantastic stories that equip people with a truly Christ-centred worldview and teaches them not only how to understand the culture around them but also to impact it. An invaluable tool for teaching Kingdom values in a way that will engage any young person.

- Mark has created a unique and incisive approach to sharing the good news in our culture. Not only does he use tons of thought-provoking and sometimes cheeky stories, but the emphasis that comes through again and again is that following Jesus is about the whole of life. These resources connect and engage and are easy to use. In my parish I’ve used Mark’s stories in many different contexts, and found that they work every time.
- Rev. Guy Donegan-Cross, St Mark’s, Harrogate
- Stories can open up young people to the gospel in a way that other ways cannot. I’ve seen the way students lap up stories and how stories can be used to unlock their worldviews. Mark Roques’ course is a timely and important tool for evangelism and discipleship. It is ideal for schools and college work as well as in church groups.

- Just wanted to share a story... I flew home tonight and was on the plane beside a very nice and friendly man – we were of course chatting... and then he talked about lack of money and recession. He then declared – Don't you just wonder what it is all about? I told him some of the stories... about materialism and commodification... Then I asked him what business he was in – he said Chocolate – he works for Cadbury!! Weeelllllll – let me tell you all about Cadbury and the way it was set up – and how Cadbury wanted to make a difference!!! He didn't know any of it!!! He then said someone had told him that here and now was hell – and then we would go to Heaven – so another chance to share the Biblical story of Creation and how God wants it be...

- At Leeds Faith in Schools, we have had several training sessions, some great meals and lots of fun with Rocky! His stories and the way he uses them to bring points to life have really helped me to be more effective when communicating the Christian faith, especially John Portsmouth Football Club Westwood and Thomas Baker and the cannibals – both feature in two of our best assemblies. Highly recommend him and his work to you all.

- I'm writing to let you know how helpful I'm finding the RealityBites material in youth ministry. I recently did a talk on money, sex and power to a group aged 15 plus. Exasperated over what to base the teaching on, I looked at some of the stories of the characters that Rocky has put together. The young people were fascinated. It made me aware of the benefits of the lost art of story telling, and I for one will continue to use this excellent resource, and promote it amongst those I work with. Indeed, whenever I'm looking for a way of tackling a subject to teach on, one of the first places I turn to is RealityBites.

- RealityBites offers 20 modules exploring worldviews and if you think that sounds too academic for your teens in your school or your youth group then stop right there. Mark’s definition is as simple as “the dreams that drive our lives” and that’s something we can all relate to. Add to this, a course jam-packed with entertaining true stories about eccentric people and the crazy ways they live their lives and you have an innovative new formula for youth group meetings.
- Lillie Jenkins, Luton Churches Education Trust
- Stories have power ...when I discovered that Mark Roques has developed a course for young people which is based around storytelling, I was delighted. My delight, upon reading through the course, has increased, for here we have a tool, as teachers, preachers, youth workers, from which we can communciate effectively to young people today. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
- Jonathan Swales, youthworker in Leeds
Mark Roques’ Worldview Story course has been sponsored by Urban Saints (formerly Crusaders), and is on their Energize website. A sample Unit can be viewed at: http://web.energize.uk.net/general/21. The course is designed for youth and schools workers and can be used with unchurched young people. The material is suitable for use in many contexts, with both young people and adults. Some of the stories are about inspiring, culture-transforming Christians. Others concern mad, eccentric people who have wasted their lives because of their idolatries and obsessions. Further to this there are entertaining stories that you can find in films, television programmes, newspapers and adverts. The course doesn’t only provide stories; it also includes role plays, video clips, meditations, prayers, Bible studies and suggestions for heated debate!
